Almost all key events of 2025 are behind, only the October presentation remains when Apple will traditionally showcase its updated line of Pro models on the M5 chip, as well as many other new products.
In general, Apple traditionally unveils new products at three or four annual events: the spring presentation in March or April, the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June, the September event to announce new iPhones and Apple Watch, and sometimes an additional fall presentation to launch new Macs and iPads.
The company has already started to delight fans with new products in 2025, and there are a few more key events ahead. In this article, we will first discuss products that have not yet been presented, namely those expected to be unveiled at the October presentation, and then take a closer look at what was presented at each of Cupertino's events in 2025.
Apple doesn’t make presentations in October every year, as it was last year, for example. But this year, the October presentation will still take place, and there Apple will present not only the long-awaited MacBook with the M5 chip, but also many other Apple gadgets.
At the beginning of 2025, it was expected that a powerful tablet would be unveiled at the summer presentation, as was the case last year with the M4 chip tablet. However, the release of the model has been delayed, and the tablet will be officially unveiled at the Apple Event in October 2025. As for the specifications, they are as follows.
Although the new Vision Pro will not undergo any design changes, its technical specifications will be significantly improved thanks to the M5 chip. This chip will increase performance and energy efficiency, ensuring smoother operation for immersive applications such as augmented reality and virtual reality.
In addition, Vision Pro glasses will have improved battery life, which will solve a common problem and make the device more suitable for long-term use.
Like the new Vision Pro, the MacBook Pro will not undergo any significant design changes. As before, the MacBook Pro will be available in 14“ and 16” versions with M5, M5 Pro, and M5 Max chips. Thanks to the new chip, there will be significant improvements in multitasking and video editing.

The release of the new Apple TV (2025) will be a turning point for TV. The fact is that this model will be significantly updated: the new A17 Pro chip will allow you to run AAA games, and support for lossless audio, HDMI, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6 will improve connectivity, image and sound quality. Now Apple TV will become not just a set-top box for viewing content, but a full-fledged home entertainment center for gamers and all users.
It retains its compact design but gets the S9/S10 chip, updated microphones and speakers, better Siri integration, and new AI features for smart homes.
The device will feature more accurate tracking thanks to the U2 Ultra Wideband chip, enhanced security, improved battery life, and reliability.
The most significant Apple events of 2025 have already taken place. Here, we will review them in reverse order, starting with the September Apple presentation, then moving to the summer WWDC, and finally the spring event that began in February.
The most anticipated event from Cupertino was, of course, the September event, where the new iPhone 17 was unveiled.
At Apple's September 2025 presentation, the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and a new compact version of the iPhone 17 Air were unveiled. These smartphones feature a traditional rectangular design with flat edges and a new durable alloy body. The devices have become thinner, with the iPhone 17 Air reaching a thickness of just 5.6 mm, approaching the thinness of the iPad Pro. The displays were about 6.3–6.5 inches, with an updated Dynamic Island, and the USB Type-C port remained standard. The cameras were updated, and the Pro models moved even closer to professional devices. The iPhone 17 Air received an elegant and compact design, combining power and ergonomics.
Apple also introduced new watches: Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and Apple Watch SE 3. The new models have an improved design, expanded health monitoring capabilities, 5G support, satellite connectivity, and improved battery life.
The presentation also featured the new AirPods Pro 3 with improved active noise cancellation, lossless audio support, and new features. Apple announced updates to some services, such as Apple Music, Apple Fitness+, and iCloud, with new experiences for users.
One of the most outstanding events in the events calendar is usually WWDC, which takes place in the first half of June. The main focus of the presentation is on new software for Apple devices. It is worth noting that we are talking not only about the standard set for Mac and iPhone, but also iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS. After WWDC, beta versions of upcoming software become available for developers to test, while the final releases are scheduled for later. In 2025, Apple not only presented operating systems, but also highlighted new AI features and design updates, including Live Translation in Messages and FaceTime, Visual Intelligence for object recognition, and Image Playground for AI-generated images.
Apple introduced macOS Tahoe, the latest version of its operating system for Mac. The update brings improved multitasking, enhanced AI-powered tools, and better integration with other Apple devices. Users can now enjoy updated Spotlight search, redesigned system notifications, improved security features, and a new gaming tab in the App Store. These changes aim to make macOS more intuitive, faster, and more convenient for both everyday use and professional work.

Apple unveiled the iPhone 16 SE on February 19, 2025 - earlier than planned. Pre-orders began on February 21, sales began on February 28.
Price: From $599 for 128 GB - more expensive than expected, but with new features. The 256 GB model costs $699, and the 512 GB model costs $899.

Apple's Spring 2025 presentation was not a full-fledged live event but consisted of a series of announcements via press releases, and on March 5, the company introduced the MacBook Air with M4 chip, equipped with a 10-core processor and graphics, 12-megapixel Center Stage camera, Thunderbolt 4 ports, and a battery with up to 18 hours of autonomous operation.
The model is available in 13.6 and 15.3-inch sizes with a Liquid Retina display, a basic configuration of 16GB of storage and 256GB of SSD, and a new Sky Blue color, starting at $999. Sales began on March 12, positioning the laptop as a powerful and affordable choice for students and professionals.
According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, in December 2024, mass production of Apple's HomePad was postponed from the first to the third quarter of 2025 (July-September) due to problems with Apple Intelligence and iOS 19, and in March 2025, controversial rumors emerged: some sources predicted a launch after WWDC, while others, such as Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, hinted at a freeze on the project due to delays with Siri and homeOS. Apple does not officially comment on the status, but there is evidence that HomePad with a 6-inch screen, camera, battery, and speakers was announced on March 5, 2025, and sales began on March 12 for $199 in black and silver.
